Asif Ahmad is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a board member of Anthelio. Prior to Anthelio, Asif was Sr. Vice President Information and Technology Services at McKesson Specialty Health where he was responsible for leading the strategy for development of innovative technologies, processes and products. Before joining McKesson, a Fortune 20 Global Company, Asif served as VP, Diagnostic Services/CIO and Associate Dean at Duke University Health System and Medical Center. He was also CIO/CTO and Chair of Clinical Technology Council at The Ohio State University Health System and Medical Center.
Asif has unique experience in leading software development, strategy, product management, clinical operations, informatics/IT, patient safety, research administration, revenue cycle and global expansion. He has been recognized in the healthcare industry for advancing quality patient care while driving value and accelerating business growth. Asif received many awards and honors including: 2010 named top 10 Disruptive Forces in Health IT, 2009 CIO Hall of Fame Award; 2008 Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders Award; Executive Alliance 2006 Quality Leadership Award; and the 2001 Nicholas E. Davies Award.
Asif earned an MBA at Max M. Fisher College of Business and a MS in biomedical engineering at The Ohio State University. He is a graduate of the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan.
